Capturing Life Full Circle

Some moments just feel meant to be—and this one was exactly that.

Exactly one year to the day after I photographed Giana’s sister’s wedding, I met up with Giana and Shane at Centennial Park to capture this next chapter in their lives. I couldn’t believe it when I realized the timing. It felt like such a full-circle moment, and being invited back into their family’s story was such a sweet honor.

Centennial Park was the perfect spot for their maternity session. We wandered through the trees, found quiet spots in the grass, and of course made time to shoot in front of the Parthenon. The whole evening had this peaceful, joyful energy that made everything feel effortless.

Giana was glowing (truly), and Shane couldn’t take his eyes off her. Watching the way they interacted—how excited they are, how in sync they are—it was beautiful to witness and even better to photograph.

This session wasn’t just about taking pictures. It felt like a little celebration of everything they’ve been through together and all that’s ahead.
